What we collect

1988CHAT collects very little. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking purposes, and we do not track your behaviour within the app.

Push Notifications

If you choose to enable push notifications, we store a device token provided by Apple's Push Notification service (APNs). This token is used solely to deliver notifications. It is not linked to any personal identity and can be revoked at any time by disabling notifications in your device settings.

Analytics

We do not use any third-party analytics services. No behavioural data, crash reports, or usage metrics are collected or shared.

Hosting & infrastructure

This website is hosted on Vercel. Standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) may be recorded by our hosting provider as part of normal operations. We do not access or analyse these logs for tracking.

Third-party services

1988CHAT does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or social media SDKs. No data is shared with or sold to third parties.

Age requirement

1988CHAT is intended for users aged 18 and over. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you believe someone under 18 is using the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Given that we collect very little, changes are unlikely.
